  Dear friends, 

It is a massive honour writing this little piece of information about Cancer and Chukwuma Cancer Care Foundation (CCCF). Cancer does not rest. It doesn’t sleep either. Cancer is relentless, showing no favourites and taking no prisoners. Wealthy or poor, educated or illiterate, young or old, it doesn’t discriminate. Cancer has no friends, no allies, no comrades, it doesn’t need any. It does its damage on its own. It is its own army. It is insidious, creeping into the lives of everyone, leaving a path of destruction and tragedy in its wake. It is this tragedy that we have experienced that led to the creation of CCCF in 2015, through a strong nucleus of persons who have been privately assisting Cancer patients and having seen the damage on families, wanted to make a larger positive impact on treatments, facilities and the awareness side of it. 

CCCF is a Nigeria based Charity raising money to support less-privileged persons with Cancer treatment, care and education. It exist to ensure that persons living with Cancer have access to the best treatment and outcomes. The fund we raise normally goes towards supporting less-privileged persons suffering from Cancer in Nigeria, where the treatment needed far exceeds their ability to pay. Furthermore, we also support Cancer Organisations that are trying to improve Cancer treatment in the country and also create educational awareness on the growing problem of Cancer in the Country, in order to help prevent it. CCCF is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), regulated by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and registered in Nigeria with registered Number 84375. 

As you know, Cancer is not a regional issue, but a huge global challenge, however, working with local partners in Nigeria and others already engaged in this struggle, we are sure we can make a massive difference. We will not rest until Cancer is a thing of the past and you can also make a massive difference in this regard by contributing generously towards helping us in our continuing efforts to help wipe Cancer off the face of the earth.
